I had my house in Denny Blaine painted by Shearer Painting the summer of 2012. I hired Shearer Painting to do the work, as they had painted many homes in the neighborhood, and John gave informed answers to all of our questions. I was extremely happy with the work they did, as well as recommendations that John made regarding choice of paint types and gloss. Although we initially chose to keep the color of the house the same, John encouraged us to explore potential color changes. The new colors are not dramatically different, but the siding color is a special slightly darker formulation and the door a completely custom color of plum the Shearer Team created for us.
During the course of the work the painters found damaged siding and trim and Shearer brought in their staff carpenter who completed the repairs expertly. No owner wants to find rotten wood, but I was glad Shearer brought this to my attention and then preformed the repairs. I would also commend John for his fairness and reasonableness when an unanticipated expense arose. John’s workers were neat, courteous, and skillful, and his project managers were attentive and responsive. John’s bid may not have been the lowest but it was certainly an excellent value. I would definitely recommend that you consider Shearer Painting when you are looking to paint your home’s exterior.
