We have a large custom built Greene & Greene style home on the Eastside with extensive dark interior wood trim and beams. The natural wood is beautiful; but required careful paint color selection to compliment and not compete with the wood. This year we hired Shearer for two projects(they had completed a small job several years before). The first project was a color wash to blend in a large wall space in our living room, samples were prepared for us and John was careful to keep us involved in the selection process. The space now blends in perfectly with the wood trim.
The second project was the repainting of rest of the walls in our home to prepare for a social event we were hosting. John Shearer asked color expert Robin Daly to come and help with color selections. The color selection took about a week with some adjustment. The crew was polite, professional and efficient, we hardly knew they were there.
Besides the normal paint colors we painted two hallways and a guest bathroom with Metallic paint which John Shearer helped us select. We are very satisfied with working with Shearer Painting. I would recommend John Shearer without reservation. We love the new colors and textures.
